Helping Sacramento-Area Customers Since 2005
Nerds On Call opened its first Sacramento-area shop in 2005 in Arden Arcade, at the corner of Marconi and Eastern. We were still a young company then, and much of our early growth came the old-fashioned way: customers telling friends and neighbors that they had found someone who could fix the problem and explain what was going on without making technology feel more complicated than it already was.
As we grew, so did the ways we could help. Our remote-support team first worked from an office near Fair Oaks and Engle, later moved to Gold River, and eventually joined our shop staff so customers could get help in the shop, at home, or remotely. Our Sacramento-area shop later moved to our current location near Madison Avenue and Kenneth Avenue, putting us closer to Fair Oaks, Carmichael, and many of the communities we serve today.
More than two decades later, we still help Sacramento-area customers with PCs, laptops, Macs, Wi-Fi problems, malware, upgrades, and the everyday computer problems that never seem to happen at a convenient time. Technology has changed quite a bit since 2005. Our approach has not: give people clear answers, practical options, and a local Nerd they can call when something stops working.
