virus alert on a Mac

Ryan Eldridge stopped by KQMS Radio in Redding, CA on Mornings with Schopflin and Gibson to talk about Ransomware viruses and how to avoid any virus that can affect your computer.

Here are some of the tips Ryan gave us on how to protect our computers at home:

  1. Make sure your computer is up to date no matter how much we don’t like change
  2. Get an anti-virus program; such as Webroot for only $60; Get Webroot Info Here
  3. Include a backup system with file versioning in case of a crash. Ryan recommends iDrive.
  4. Put your photos and important files on a separate hard drive
