Well, because otherwise we’d be stuck in the stone age, reading ancient books that held us back from progressing as a society. From that dramatic intro, allow me to transition into how this applies to laptop selection and installation. While laptops are wonderful things, they often become behind the times. New programs work on better hardware, and after a while you can’t just upgrade your laptop and get on with your life. You’ll actually need a new one.
