Please note the following:

  • Nerds on Call cannot be responsible for any loss of, or damage to, your equipment during shipping. This includes incoming and outgoing orders.
  • Nerds on Call cannot be responsible for any loss of software or data in transit: please back up the data on your hard drive prior to shipping the unit for repair.
  • All of our shipments are packed safely, checked, and insured with a trusted carrier. We recommend insuring any equipment you ship to us.
  • Claims for damage during transit are the sole responsibility of the customer, and we will fully comply with all requests from customers and carriers relating to such claims.
  • The actual price may vary based on the model, repairs needed and cost of parts. The price you’re paying today does not include the cost of shipping the device back to you, if applicable. Your initial payment is a deposit and diagnostic fee towards your device repair. It will be applied toward the cost of repair should you approve the final estimate.
  • Please allow extra time for repairs if components and/or parts are not in stock.
  • A Nerd will contact you with the final cost of repair. You must approve the invoice before we begin work on your repair.
  • Nerds on Call will NOT return defective parts that are replaced as part of the repair process unless you request them at the time you approve the repair estimate.

Notice Of Disposal Of Unclaimed property:

If you or your agent fails to claim your product(s) within 90 days after we receive it, Nerds On Call shall have the right to sell or otherwise dispose of your product(s). By utilizing our services, you acknowledge that you have read this notice and agree that notice attempts may be sent to you at the address, phone number or email you provided, if you failed to supply an address, phone number or email, no notice will be sent or given prior to disposal of product(s).
