During our initial setup service appointment, we installed an app on your computer that allows you to invite a Nerd On Call to remotely login to your computer with a simple double click. You’ll be able to chat with your Nerd, show them the problem you’re having, and watch as they fix it right in front of you.
And don’t worry about a Nerd accessing your computer outside the parameters of your requested service: our software only allows us to access your computer when you initiate the request, and permission is discontinued as soon as you click out of your remote session.

As a service plan member, anything you have trouble with on your covered computer(s) that can be resolved either over the phone or through remote login (by connecting to your computer online) is covered for no additional charge. You may be surprised to learn that most issues we see these days can be fixed remotely – from issues with your email, syncing your work shared files, backing up your Quicken, getting rid of popups or viruses, and so much more.
And if your system needs an onsite or in-shop repair (like if your hard drive fails or you break your laptop screen), service members get exclusive discounts on in-person service.
Good news! Every residential service plan covers up to 2 systems, so you would only need to pay for the one-time qualification service on your second computer (to get the system running optimally and support software installed) and then BOTH of your computers would be covered ongoing for the same low monthly fee.

I purchased the on call package and see the charge each month, but when you have a problem, they are worth every penny. my tech started my “”repair”” on one night and had to finish on another evening as we live in the mountains and our internet service is spotty. I watched as programs were updated, ad blockers, malware and other “”tune up”” programs and services were performed. Best yet, I didnt need to pack up my computer, take it to a service and wait a week. the techs are helpful, and at one point when my internet service went down, the tech called me to arrange to finish the following evening.

Great Service! They informed me that my Mackeeper anti-virus is actually a virus anti-virus scam that I’ve been paying for. Apple MacBook Pro had a major virus for two months unusable completely wiped out my internet abilities, trackpad was broke. They gave me upfront pricing, date and finished on time called me to tell me. Removed nasty virus and installed an antivirus per my request. This is after I tried Apple store in fashion fair where they can’t tell you if it can be fixed and must send off hot weeks and much more money than Nerds on call. “Nerd” Jay D is my HERO!!!! He remotely took over my computer and found solutions to all my computer woes. I took my laptop into Nerds on Call last week…problems were fixed + upgraded to Google Chrome, upgraded to Windows 10 & a new hard drive installed. Took it home and had some MAJOR issues with using new (not improved) upgrades (wanted to drop kick my laptop into oblivion). Nerds on Call remotely took over my laptop Sat, Sun & Mon… for hours!
