Computer Repair Stockton
By: , CEO and co-founder of Nerds On Call, an on-site computer and laptop repair service company.

Nerds On Call Computer Repair Stockton was started at the same time as its sister store in Modesto – in 2007. Near the beginning of that year we were starting on a journey that would end in us founding five locations – a record year. These two were founded right after Vacaville. Shane Rivers, our VP and Merl Valles moved to Manteca and rented an apartment there. When not running the business and being so far away from home, the two spent many hours’ playing cards.  Both became quite the card sharks!  While in this location, they actually ran all of Nerds On Call Computer Repair Stockton for a few months. When calls started to pick up, they put the cards away and went hard to work hiring people so they could finally go home. From there they established our current office, which Nerds run out of now.

A little while after showing up in Stockton, Merl bought a Nerd mobile and had it wrapped. It serviced the two cities for a number of years, but now it’s in our home town of Redding. You know how in the Matrix where there’s a plaque that says where the ship originally came from? We won’t make any claims, but you might be able to plug into the matrix from the Nerd mobile.

In traditional Nerd fashion, we get excited about the most bizarre of things, including the Stockton asparagus festival. Sometimes we even call the city by its old name of Mudville, but only in the most loving of ways, we promise!

"Hi, this is Kathy Barbisan, and I have had my computer for 7-8 years and we all get really accustomed to technology. Some of us are more accustomed to it at first, some of us are a little uneasy. But eventually it works its way into our life and our business stuff is on there, our personal stuff is on there, and we get really comfortable. Until something goes wrong. Then we get this panic attack: "What am I going to do? Who am I going to call?" So I called Nerds On Call - I've never felt so comfortable with someone in my home, and fixing my computer. I was totally confident the minute he sat down in the chair. I just wanted to say that Josh is one of those people. I feel absolutely amazing. Everything is totally put back together. Thanks Josh."

"I just want to thank Nerds On Call. They've rescued me 3 or 4 times from my computer problems. I'm technologically disadvantaged, so they're wonderful. I recommend them to my friends and family and neighbors. I recommend them very much."

Sirs/Madams: EXCELLENCE! Once again, the expertise and performance of your staff has provided superb resolution of four computer concerns. GARRETT L. Corrected and revised four programs to improve ease of operation and concern: 1. Advice and remove unnecessary McAfee security software, 2. Delete unnecessary search programs and install Yahoo as my default search engine, 3. Confirm Comic Sans as my E-mail default text, and 4. Alphabetize the items in Favorites. Garrett was expert and efficient in these tasks. He was courteous and patient with this lazy Geek! Thanks for your rapid and effective support. My wife and I appreciate your service!

"You were very punctual on your time description, you're very casual, very humble, and you made me feel like you were doing a good job, you knew what you were talking about." "I appreciate that. It's been an awesome time getting to know you, hearing your stories about Virgil." "Oh, and I have a single daughter." "Oh, now you tell me that at the end. You're supposed to tell me that at the beginning. I'll have to get that phone number."
